KINDRED, ND – Valley City earned a five-set win (19-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-27, 17-15) over Kindred in North Dakota Division A volleyball on Tuesday night.

Valley City senior Kadie Kocka finished with a match-high 35 kills. The Hi-Liners (1-0 overall, 1-0 Region 1) return to the court for their home opener and a regional contest on Thursday against Central Cass.

Taylor Sanders paced Kindred with 18 kills on the night. The Vikings (6-2 overall, 0-1 Region 1) head to Northern Cass for a Region 1 contest on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on yourliveevent.com.
