Valley City vs Northern Cass

Recap

Jaguars secure signature win over Hi-Liners

Northern Cass defeated top-ranked Valley City on Tuesday night to close the Region 1A standings gap even closer. Valley City moved past Oak Grove at the end of last week but the lead swapped again after the Hi-Liners fell short in 4 sets on the road. The Northern Cass defense was beyond scrappy and kept many plays alive that they turned into points for themselves. Cait Weible’s defense was noticeable all night and was a catalyst for Jaguars success.

Valley City won the first set but Northern Cass took the next three in succession to move to 6-3 in the Region while Valley City drops to 8-3.
