VALLEY CITY, ND – Valley City outscored White Shield 22-6 in the first quarter en route to a 78-60 win over White Shield on Tuesday afternoon from the Barnes County Tournament.

Bryson Heck paced all scored with 26 points as Valley City (2-1 overall) advanced to the semifinals against May-Port CG on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Daceton Demarce paced White Shield (5-2 overall) with 18 points. The Warriors play Wyndmere/Lidgerwood in the consolation semifinals on Thursday at 3 p.m. You can watch both games on yourliveevent.com.
