Walker-Hackensack-Akeley at Mahnomen-Waubun

Recap

The Walker Hackensack Akeley Wolves got a big performance from Aubrey Morrison which helped them pull away for a 70-52 win over Mahnomen Waubun.  After a quick start by the Wolves, Mahnomen Waubun was able to get the offense going and would take a lead midway through the first half, but the Wolves would hit some big 3 pointers to come right back and turn the tables to build a 10 point halftime lead at 39-29.  The Thunderbirds would some out strong and cut the lead to 5 in the 2nd half only to see WHA once again hit some big shots, and point guard Aubrey Morrison would get hot scoring 19 of her 29 points in the 2nd half to pull away for the win.  Mahnomen Waubun drops to 1-5 on the year while WHA is now 4-0.
