Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons took care of business on Friday night improving to 3-0 with a 52-22 win over the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies.

The Ponies lost a fumble on the just the second play of the game. Fertile-Beltrami would take advantage with a 23 yard touchdown run by Isaiah Wright. The Ponies would again turn the football over, on possession number two, Ponies QB Caden Pierce had his pass tipped and intercepted by Fertile-Beltrami Defensive Tackle Kolten Wang. On the very next play Falcons Quarterback Easton Petry found Wideout Bryer Strem for a 36 yard TD.

Fertile-Beltrami scored on seven of eight possessions, their eighth was the kneel down to end the game. For Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, Quarterback Kaden Pierce rushed for two touchdowns, and Derek Moehrle ran for one late in the game.

Fertile-Beltrami is now 3-0 and will be at the Win E Mac Patriots next week (96.7 FM KKCQ). Warren-Alvarado-Oslo has lost two in a row, falling to 1-2, and will host Goodridge/Grygla next Friday.
