Jakob Rudie threw for a touchdown and ran for a score as the Fosston Greyhounds defeated the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies 38-20 in Fosston. Rudie connected with Darien Holzer on a 14 yard touchdown pass to give the Greyhounds a 14-0 lead. Owen Dvorak carried the ball 27 times for 191 yards for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo as the Ponies fall to 1-2 on the season.. Dvorak scored all the of the W-A-O touchdowns including one on a 66 yard run. Jaxson Daniel, Brydin Daniel and Jakob Manteufel each scored a touchdown for Fosston as the Greyhounds improve to 2-0. The Greyhounds will return to action on Friday, September 12th when they travel to Win-E-Mac to take on the Patriots (1480-AM/99.7 FM). Warren-Alvarado-Oslo has a bye week next week.
