Clearbrook, MN — The Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies put on a dominating performance on Tuesday night with a 83-45 win over the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears to improve to 7-6 on the season.

It was the Ponies relentless defensive pressure that allowed them to play with a comfortable lead all night long. The Ponies defense forced the Bears into 33 total turnovers throughout the game. Coach Casey Pierce was hoping to see her team get back to their usual productive offensive ways and they did just that. They turned their defense into instant offense and three players scored 14 or more points. The win puts the Ponies back over .500 at 7-6 and will play at home on Thursday against the East Grand Forks Green Wave. Clearbrook-Gonvick has now dropped 11 games in a row to fall to 1-14 and they will host the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves on Thursday.
