The West Marshall Fusion scored seven runs in the fifth inning and went on to win 14-7 Thursday at Thompson Field in Fosston. The game was scoreless after three innings before the bats woke up for both teams. The two teams combined for 21 runs and 32 hits in the game. Will McGlynn went 4 for 5 at the plate for the Fusion as they improve their overall record to 8-4. Demitrius Oberg and Aiden Anderson each had three hits for West Marshall. Brecken Levin doubled three times for Fosston as the Greyhounds had their ten game winning streak come to an end and fall to 12-3 overall. Hudson Boushee, Tommy Simonson, Markus Olson and Zach Theis each had two hits for the Greyh9unds. Fosston will play at Kittson County Central on Friday, May 19th while the Fusion will also play on Friday at home against Grafton before hosting Ada-Borup-West on Saturday in Argyle.
