Career coaching victory #500 for Ada-Borup-West Dave Smart Friday night when the Lady Cougars defeated Win-E-Mac 67-18.  Coach Smart has a record of 500-176, seven section championships,  three state titles, a state runner-up, with other state appearances also including top four finishes.  The Lady Cougars put no doubt into this game after a 3-3 tie, it was a 19-0 run, followed by more strong play for a 41-6 halftime lead.   All players saw playing time in the second half as Ada-Borup-West won their sixth consecutive game ( now 6-1).  Win-E-Mac slips to 1-9 overall.   The Cougars made ten 3-point field goals, and held Win-E-Mac to three total field goals ( two 2-point and one l3-point) for the entire game.  Ada-Borup-West plays at Climax-Fisher Tuesday night.  Win-E-Mac plays Lake Park Audubon on Monday night.
