The Fosston Greyhounds scored three unanswered touchdowns in the second half and went on to defeat the Win-E-Mac Patriots 32-14 Friday night at Fosston. Quarterback Jakob Rudie ran for three touchdowns as the Greyhounds improve to 2-0. Ryne Duppong carried the ball for 131 yards and made four catches for another 94 yards. Sophomore Brydin Daniel rushed for 119 yards and scored on a 57 yard run. It was the second straight game that Duppong and Daniel each rushed for more than 100 yards. Nathaniel Spry scored on a nine yard run and Hunter Wescott returned a fumble 60 yards for the two Win-E-Mac touchdowns. The Greyhounds led 14-6 at halftime and 20-6 after three quarters. The Patriots fall to 1-1 with the loss. Both teams return to action on Friday, September 13th with Fosston hosting Kittson County Central (1480-AM/99.7 FM) and Win-E-Mac on the road at Goodridge/Grygla (96.7 FM).
