FISHER, MN – The Climax-Fisher Knights improved to 7-13 on the season with their 56-23 win over the Win-E-Mac Patriots on Monday night.

The Knights, led by head coach Adrianna Rooney, set the tone on the defensive side of the ball early with a full court trapping defense. Guards Lucy Paulsrud and Halle Reitmeier orchestrated the offense and created confusion on defense, forcing a few turnovers, leading to transition baskets for Paulsrud and seventh grader Peyton Hoffman.

Hoffman was able to get into a rhythm early, scoring 11 of her 20 first half points at the free throw line. She finished with 30 points.

For the Patriots, sophomore Shelby Mandt led the team in scoring off the bench with seven points. Senior Nadelly Neubert and freshman Paige Breitbach both scored four points. Freshman Lauren Kaupang went down with an injury early in the game for the Patriots and did not return.
