Red Lake Falls, MN — The Red Lake Falls Eagles beat the Win E Mac Patriots 3-0 on Monday night in the final game of their regular season.

Red Lake Falls was able to take advantage of a slow start from Win E Mac in the first set to build a 6-0 deficit that the Patriots could never fully comeback from. The Eagles won the opener 25-17. Set two would see Win E Mac in front for most of the game but by only 2-3 points at any given moment. The Patriots had the Eagles up against the wall leading 22-20 but Red Lake Falls would regroup in a timeout and score the final five points to take set two 25-20. The third set was also close midway through the set 12-12. But Red Lake Falls would make an 8-0 run that would make the difference and eventually win 25-19 and win the match 3-0.

Red Lake Falls ends their regular season 17-10 and will likely play Lake of the Woods in the first round of the playoffs. Win E Mac falls to 1-19 on the season and will host Lake Park-Audubon Tuesday night.
