Fargo VA holding annual Great American Smokeout
The Fargo VA will be participating in the annual Great American Smokeout on Thursday, November 21, and they are encouraging veterans to take the first step in living a smoke free life. Fargo VA Health Behavior Coordinator Dr Anna Sproull tells us more about the Great American Smokeout, and what the VA hopes it accomplishes.
Sproull says the event is also a good way for veterans to see the different services that are available through the VA to help smokers quit.
Lastly Sproull gives some advice to veterans and non veterans who are looking to quit, and she also encourages all smokers to quit.
Again that’s Thursday, November 21 at the Fargo VA. For more tools, tips, and information to help you quit tobacco go to smokefree.gov.
