Farm To Table

There’s been a movement in Minnesota to have more food from the state’s farms go directly to local schools.  One school that’s taking advantage of that is the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School. Shannon Nowak is the Food Service Director for the DGF Schools.

The Glyndon School cafeteria hosted a Battle of the Beans cook-off Thursday night sponsored by the Northarvest Bean Growers Association.  Minnesota Ag Commissioner Thom Peterson was among those attending Thursday’s cook-off.
