Fatal car accident on Highway 200 near Norman/Mahnomen County line 

A severe car accident involving a semi truck and car has been reported at the intersection of 420th street and MN 200 near the Norman/Mahnomen County line West of Mahnomen in Norman County. 

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The condition of the other driver and the identities of the drivers have not been made public at this time.

Update: According to a crash report by the Minnesota State Patrol, a 17 year old male from Gary Minnesota was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the semi has been identified as 76 year old Jerry Alfred Wang of Winger, MN. Wang was transported to a nearby medical center and is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
