FEMA Help For Norman County?

The damaging storms that went through the Red River Valley in late June had local authorities looking to the government for help.  On Thursday, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced that Norman, Mahnomen and Clearwater counties plus the White Earth Band of Chippewa would be receiving funding and public assistance for rebuilding public infrastructure.  Norman County Emergency Manager Garry Johanson says he recently spoke to the Norman County Board about the possibility of getting assistance from FEMA.

Then what would that mean for Norman County?

The storms caused over $8 million damage in the Bemidji area alone.
