Fertile City Council gives Fair Meadow Nursing Home Update 

The City of Fertile provided an update on the status of a potential sale of the Fair Meadow Nursing to Cornerstone during their city council meeting on Monday night. Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says discussions are still in the early stages. 

Liden says the Fertile City Council also agreed to loan money to the Fair Meadow Nursing Home so they can pay the Health Dimensions Group for their services. 

The Fertile City Council also heard an update from their engineers during the meeting and they provided an update on the ongoing Water and Sewer project. Liden says the city was invited to submit a full application for a Small Cities Development Program Grant that may help pay for the water and sewer. 

The Fertile City Council will hold a special meeting on March 11 to discuss the next steps for the Water and Sewer project.
