Fertile City Council Meets

FERTILE, MN—Monday’s Fertile City Council meeting had plenty of discussion, but not much action.  The Council did accept bids for an old Ford pickup truck and four payloader tires.  Also, John Walters was appointed to the city’s economic development committee.  And the Council approved a request for proposal to hire a new attorney to handle civil matters.  Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden also pointed out that if you see someone underage driving a golf cart on city streets, it should be reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and not to the City offices.
