Fertile City Council Meets

FERTILE, MN—The Fertile City Council had been looking for an auditor for several months.  At Monday night’s regular meeting, the Council voted to hire Minneapolis-based CliftonLarsonAllen LLP to handle audits for 2023 and 2024.  Fertile Mayor Brian Nephew tells us more.

Jude Olson died on July 2, 2020 in an ATV accident at that location.  The Fertile City Council also approved an insurance agreement with the Fertile-Beltrami Sandhill Snowcruisers regarding the snowmobile trail on city property.  And after lengthy discussion, the Council tabled an amendment to the city code regarding duties of the mayor.
