Fertile City Council Special Meeting

FERTILE, MN—The Fertile City Council held a special meeting Monday night to discuss change orders to the Community Center renovation.  Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says the Council approved spending approximately $7500 for roof repairs.

Meanwhile, the Council took no action on a proposal to change some of the new windows being installed at the Community Center.  It turns out none of the new windows will open or close and it was thought some new windows could be changed to the type that open and close.  

Liden gives an update on when the Community Center renovation would be finished.

Also on Monday, the Fertile City Council voted to donate seven old beds from Fair Meadow Nursing home to charitable groups.
