Polk County Denounces change of Minnesota state flag and seal 

Polk County will be the next county that will denounce the adoption of a new Minnesota state flag and seal. Polk County Auditor Kelsi Jarvis says the Polk County Commission recently held a meeting to hear peoples opinion on the change and she says the room unanimously agreed on an opinion. 

Jarvis says the cost of changing everything from the old flag and seal to the new one is a major reason she and others at the meeting opposed the change as well. 

Jarvis says the commission will be passing a resolution at their next meeting that will officially denounce the changing of the state flag and seal.
