Fosston Area Sportsmen’s Club holding annual Fishing Derby this weekend 

The Fosston Area Sportsmen’s Club will be holding their Annual Fishing Derby this weekend on Cross Lake, and ice anglers from all across the region are invited to attend. Sportsmen’s Club representative Cooper Wilson  previews the derby. 

Wilson and club member Kim Rue says they have been holding this event for many decades, and draws anglers from all across the region. 

Wilson and Rue say they will also be holding a “Teach a Kid to Fish” event in conjunction with the Derby, and they’re asking that parents get their children pre registered for the event.
