Fosston Knowledge Bowl defends state championship 

After months of hard work, the Fosston Knowledge Bowl team is officially back to back state champions. R&J News’ Tom Lano talks with Fosston Knowledge Bowl coaches Ron Berntson and Holly O’Shea about the competition this past weekend. 

Team member Micah Malmanger says there was a lot of pressure on them this time around. 

Caleb Richardson  says it feels great to come back to Fosston with another championship, and overcome the pressure they had this year. 

Lewis Johnson tells us what the key to their title defense was. 

Avery Hruby, says this year’s title defense “hit much more differently” than their state championship run last year. 

The Fosston Knowledge Bowl team was greeted with a welcome home police escort this weekend, and Ari Balstad says it was a surreal experience.
