Fosston Service Award winner is announced

On Monday, April 10th the City of Fosston presented the 2022 Fosston Service Award to Bob Saeter. Saeter has a long history of serving the community of Fosston and has volunteered in many capacities including helping the Fosston All-School Reunion committees over the years and assisting with parade organization. One of the main reasons Saeter is receiving the award is his work with the annual Memorial Day program in Fosston as he chaired the Memorial Day program committee that was formed by the city. The Fosston Service Award is given to individuals who have made positive impacts on the community over an extended period of time or a lifetime. Saeter first came to Fosston in 1968 as he was hired as the Band Director for the Fosston School District and has directed the Fosston All-School Reunion bands as a volunteer.
