Fosston Students Tour Fargo School Stores Ahead of Opening
As Fosston High School prepares for the grand opening of its new school store on November 12, a group of ten students took their planning to the next level with an educational trip to Fargo.
During their visits, the group gathered key insights to shape their upcoming enterprise. At Davies High School, they focused on gross profit figures and the variety of featured brands. Moving on to Fargo North High School, the students noted a broader inventory, including clothing items and snacks not seen at the first stop.
Fosston Superintendent Derek Gieseke explained the inspiration behind the trip and how students are building their business strategy.
Building on these real-world experiences, the students will continue refining their inventory and business models as they prepare to launch the store and present their progress to the school board.
