Friends of Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge Hosting Kids Fishing Day
Rochert, MN — The Friends of the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge invite first time and beginning young anglers to their first ever Youth Fishing Day this Saturday, February 5th from 1-4pm on Tamarac Lake. The Friends Group will provide some basic lessons and fishing supplies so they have what it takes to become successful anglers, according to Friends of Tamarac Group volunteer Nathan Olson.
Olson knows from personal experience that bringing kids fishing isn’t easy. He recommends finding ways to keep them entertained and bring snacks….lot of snacks.
