Garden Transplanting tips  

Gardening season has arrived in the Red River Valley, but some gardening experts from across the region are encouraging gardeners to hold off on their transplanting. Sam Haugen of Fertile Gardening Center says this is mainly due to the upcoming weather forecast. 

When you do eventually start transplanting, Haugen shares some tips that you can use to make the process more efficient, and effective. 

A question many have is whether or not you should use a starter when you’re transplanting, and Haugen says that depends on the plant.
