Glory Land Gospel Concludes 51st Year at Polk County Fair

The Glory Land Gospel Team has been a staple at the Polk County Fair for over 50 years and counting and Gary Johnson has been involved since day one. Gary sat down with us during the Polk County Fair to discuss the Gospel Tent. One of the things discussed was the history of the Gospel Tent. 

When the group first started performing it was originally a classic country group but according to Johnson the kind of music they played has changed over the years and become more gospel focused. 

Johnson also shared his favorite thing about being able to perform at the fair year in and year out. 

Glory Land Gospel doesn’t stop performing once the fair is done and the Glory Land Gospel Team actually has some performances coming up.
