Grain Bin Safety Week 

National Grain Bin Safety week runs from February 18 through February 24 next week, and one local woman continues to raise awareness for this issue that is prevalent across our agricultural communities. Dawn Chisholm lost her husband Bill in a grain bin accident and has made it her priority to advocate for increased safety on the farm. Chisholm walks us through her story and how she uses it to raise awareness. 

Chisholm shared some steps you could take to lower your chances of being involved in a grain bin accident, as well as how you can help others in the ag industry. 

Since 2017 Chisholm has been raising awareness for grain bin, and workplace safety through her business “If Only”. Chisholm explains why she chose the name “If Only”, and what caused her to start advocating.
