Halstad City Council Meets

HALSTAD, MN—Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson says Monday night’s city council meeting was uneventful.  He said the council received its annual audit.

Also at Monday’s meeting, it was noted that a blighted and dangerous property the city had sold recently was being cleaned up–that a dilapidated home on the property has been removed. Johnson also says the City of Halstad was asked by a property owner to rezone that land from commercial to residential…..a request Johnson says the City has never had before.
