Halstad City Council Meets

HALSTAD, MN—This past Monday’s Halstad City Council meeting was said to be a routine affair.  Mayor Darin Johnson tells R&J News the Council held a first reading on a new public nuisance ordinance, which has several new codes and changes from the current ordinance.  A citizen also approached the Council about purchasing the Sunrise Apartments, which the City of Halstad owns.  No action was taken on that request.  The Council also approved liquor licenses for a mixed stag that will be held on March 1.
