Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease making its way across area schools 

Schools across the region are reporting sizable amounts of hand, foot, and mouth disease, and many parents are raising questions on whether they should be sending their children to school if they have it. Tammy Carlsrud of Norman-Mahnomen Public Health tells us what they’re recommending to schools and parents. 

With  hand, foot, and mouth disease making its way around, Carlsrud says it’s important for teachers and parents to keep environments clean, and make sure kids are washing their hands.
