Hanson Pleads Guilty To Murder

A woman from Kennedy has pleaded guilty to a murder in Hallock in March 2025.  24-year-old Jordan Carol Hanson pleaded guilty last week to second degree felony murder in the death of Justin Esparza.  Prosecutors say Hanson shot Esparza in the head, using his own gun, then left in Esparza’s truck and took his dog before she was arrested.
