Harp Concert To Benefit Norman County Historical Society
ADA, MN—The Norman County Historical Society is holding a concert Saturday, which is being called an unusual experience for the Ada community. Solvieg Kitchell with the Historical Society says it will be a harp concert, featuring two sisters from Halstad.
Kitchell talks about Saturday’s concert and how the Norman County Historical Society got to know John and Andrea Nelson of Halstad, the girls’ parents.
This harp concert will be held Saturday afternoon at 2pm at Pontoppidan Church at Prairie Village in Ada. Admission is by donation….and as Kitchell mentioned, proceeds will go toward building a climate-controlled storage building at the Historical Society. In case the weather is too cold—harps can’t be in a place colder than 51 degrees— the concert will be moved to the museum at Prairie Village.
