Hawley Foster Grandparent wins Volunteer of the Year Award
The Hawley School District will be holding a celebration next week to for Foster Grandparent Shirley Strand. Hawley Elementary Principal Chris Ellingson says the celebration is because Strand recently received a Volunteer of the Year award.
In other Hawley school news, Ellingson also reminds parents that unlike a lot of other area schools, Hawley does have school on Monday.
The award celebration will take place on Wednesday April 23 after school, at the Hawley School.
