Hawley Superintendent Phil Jensen heading into retirement

After spending 21 years as Hawley Superintendent, today is the last day of work for Phil Jensen, as he will be going into retirement. R&J News had the chance to catch up with Jensen, who said he was “truly blessed” to work in a great community. 

Having a superintendent stay in one school district for over 20 years is very rare nowadays, and Jensen tells us what kept him in Hawley for so long. 

Taking over for Jensen will be Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Superintendent Jordan Spaeth.
