Hawley Superintendent Search Continues

HAWLEY, MN—The Hawley School District is once again looking for a new superintendent.  You may know that longtime superintendent Phil Jensen is retiring at the end of the school year.  Last month, Dr. Catherine Gillach of the Grand Forks School District accepted the position, but later turned it down.  Hawley Elementary School Principal Chris Ellingson says the search is starting from scratch.

Applications are being accepted until Monday, January 12 at 3pm.  The Hawley School Board will hold a special meeting on January 21 to go over the applicants’ resumes.
