Hillsboro City Cleanup Day on Monday
This coming Monday, May 15th will be the Cleanup Day for the City of Hillsboro. The City is asking residents to have all of their trash for the cleanup day out on the berm by 7am Monday. The city trucks will not backtrack to retrieve any refuse that is not placed on the boulevard in time for the scheduled pickup. Metal items will need to be placed in a separate pile as it cannot go to the landfill. Also take note that there are a number of items that will not be taken by the Hillsboro City crew. These items include: concrete, batteries, tires, oil, paint cans, shingles, hazardous materials and household garbage. Yard waste can be disposed of behind the city shop. Again, the Cleanup Day for the City of Hillsboro will be coming up on Monday, May 15th. Hillsboro residents, please have items on the berm by 7am.
