Hillsboro City Commission Hires Within for Utility Auditor Position; Plus More News & Notes
Hillsboro, ND — More news and notes from last week’s Hillsboro City Commission meeting held on Monday, March 6th at the Main Street Community Center. At the meeting, the commission agreed on a 3-2 vote to hire current Administrative Assistant Sara Myers to the new Utility Auditor position. Hillsboro Commission President Levi Reese was one of two who voted against the motion, which he notes was because he wanted to interview all three of the applicants.
In regards to the discrepancy that President Reese was referring to, he says they recently discovered that Anchor Ingredients hadn’t been being billed properly for their utilities in several years.
And Reese says they received some good news on the Woodland Park bridge, which is in need of eventual replacement.
The Hillsboro City Commission meets next on Monday, March 20th. All meetings are live streamed and archived online at YourLiveEvent.com.
