Hillsboro City Commission Meets

HILLSBORO, ND—Monday night, the Hillsboro City Commission voted to pursue a grant from Traill County to build a security fence.  City Auditor Casey Eggermont explains why.

Eggermont says Traill County Economic Development offers beautification grants and that is what the City will pursue.  Also at Monday’s City Commission meeting, there was talk about food truck licenses for upcoming events like Hillsboro Days.

Also, the Hillsboro Fire Department asked for a special meeting with the City Commission to discuss sewer and water infrastructure.  That meeting will be next Monday, April 28 at 7pm at the Main Street Community Center.
