Hillsboro Felony Charge Update

HILLSBORO, ND—Here’s an update to a story R&J News told you yesterday.  New details have been released about a Hillsboro man facing felony charges.  48-year-old Robert E. Taylor has been charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of aggravated assault.  According to court documents, Traill County Deputies responded to a 911 call at a Hillsboro residence around 2:20 am on December 26. The caller reported a man had been stabbed and taken to a Hillsboro hospital.  The caller also identified Taylor as the person who did the stabbing.  Deputies caught up with Taylor Sunday night at his residence.  Taylor is in custody in the Cass County Jail and has a preliminary hearing on January 21. No word on the victim’s name or condition.
