Hillsboro High School sends over 30 students to Washington DC 

It’s been a busy couple weeks at the Hillsboro School District, and that is no different this week, though the school itself may be a little quieter than normal. Hillsboro High School Principal Carly Theis says they have a lot of high schoolers out of the building this week for a number of activities, including the semi annual Close Up trip to Washington DC. 

The Hillsboro Theatre Department held their matinee performances of “The Day The Internet Died” this past weekend as well, and Theis said their performances went really well. 

Theis says state assessment testing was held last week as well, and she said it went well, and that she is proud of how her students did. 

Theis also reminds parents that it’s a short week for school as they will be taking some days off for Easter break.
