Hillsboro School Board News & Notes from March 9th Meeting
Hillsboro, ND — The Hillsboro School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday morning, March 9th where they addressed some staffing items, continued to prepare for a potential facilities project, and discussed some updates from the legislature.
Under staffing, the Hillsboro School Board approved the retirement of a long-time Title 1 instructor and approved a number of new coaches, according to Hillsboro Superintendent Paula Suda.
The school board also took some additional steps to prepare in the event they decide to move forward a facility renovation or new high school referendum. Superintendent Suda says they approved the public input survey and paid down some of their current debt.
And Suda updated the board on the legislative session and the bills that might have an impact on them.
The Hillsboro School Board also review their annual English Language Learners Plan and approved the Superintendent Evaluation.
