Hillsboro Schools New Cell Phone Policy
HILLSBORO, ND—The Hillsboro School Board voted at last Tuesday’s meeting to change the school district’s cell phone policy. Hillsboro Superintendent Jon Dryburgh explains.
Dryburgh tells us there will be consequences for students who don’t follow the new cell phone policy.
Dryburgh says for a third offense, an elementary school student will have to turn their phone over to their teacher…and a high school student’s phone will be put into a special drop-off site. This new cell phone policy will be in effect when the new school year begins on August 20. Hillsboro’s new cell phone policy for students will soon be available on the school district’s website: http://hillsborok12.com
