Hillsboro Woman Injured After I-29 Crash

A Hillsboro woman was taken to the hospital after her vehicle was rear-ended Saturday on I-29. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 33-year-old woman from Hillsboro was northbound on I-29 shortly after 5pm Saturday when her car was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by a 76-year-old woman from Grand Forks. This was near mile marker 83.  The woman from Hillsboro was taken to a Grand Forks hospital with a minor injury.  The Grand Forks woman was arrested and charged with DUI plus reckless endangerment with extreme indifference.  No names have been released; the North Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
