Hometown Hope trying to make prom affordable for area students

February 26, 2026 News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Local non-profit Hometown Hope will be hosting a series of Prom Pop Ups on February 28 and March 4, and all area students are invited to check it out. Hometown Hope Director Kristi Beyl says they are hosting this sale as a way to make prom more affordable for area students and their families.

How affordable will these prom outfits cost? Beyl says no dress will cost more than $20.

If you have old prom clothing laying around your house that you’d like to get rid of, Beyl says they are still accepting donations for all kinds of prom dresses and suits.

Again, the Hometown Hope Prom Pop Up will be held on Saturday, February 28, and Wednesday March 4. You can go to the Hometown HOPE Inc Facebook page for more information.
