House DFL Cacus pushes for Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program funding
The Minnesota House of Representatives will be voting on the House housing budget this week, and the House DFL Cacus is prioritizing the inclusion of funding for the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program. In a press conference on Tuesday Rep. Huldah Momanyi-Hiltsle (DFL-Brooklyn Park) told us more about the funding, and how Minnesotans would be able to use it.
Jenny Larson, who is the Executive Director of non-profit Three River Community Action, spoke in favor of the funding, saying it’s needed, especially as the federal government continues to cut programs.
