House Republicans call for $120 million in funding for rural EMS 

On Wednesday afternoon GOP leadership in the Minnesota House of Representatives called for over $100 million in funding to support rural EMS services. House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth says the current state of EMS services threatens the lives of many and needs to be a top priority for the legislature. 

Governor Walz’s current bonding bill only has $16 million allocated to rural EMS.
