Humane Society Warns people about gifting pets as Christmas Gifts. 

We’ve all seen the Christmas movie where a parent, spouse and friend has gifted someone with a pet for Christmas, and while that seems like a great idea Ana Gustafson of the Scruffy Tails Humane Society in Crookston says that people should reconsider doing this. 

If you are going to give a pet to someone make sure they are a part of the adoption process and that they are there to pick out the animal.
