International Falls Chamber of Commerce to close its doors.

Dear Chamber Members,

The International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce held a special meeting of the membership this afternoon at Backus Community Center to address the resolution passed by the Board of Directors on February 7, 2022, recommending the dissolution of the Chamber.

The membership present, or by proxy, voted in favor of the resolution to cease operations of the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, by a vote of 17 for and 12 against. The International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will formally close at the end of this fiscal year, April 30, 2022.

While further details and information regarding the dissolution of the Chamber will be shared through an upcoming press release, we knew people would want to know the results of today’s meeting so wanted to get a message out as quickly as possible.
